Pre-School (Nursery and KG)

Pre-School (Nursery and KG) is designed to give a child the basic foundation for learning .The child develops self-confidence, independence, and concentration through Pre School  activities. The programme refines the five senses- sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch to prepare the child for an all-round development. The curriculum is meticulously and aesthetically  created to provide a compact foundation in academics as well as social, emotional, physical, and moral development where toddlers form the lovely Play-group, but with a considerably more advanced curriculum. With specifically created multi-level Preschooling programs, the mindful curriculum is designed to expedite the kids to foster life skills. Musical experiences, storytelling, DIY Sessions, and a healthy balance of indoor and outdoor play guarantee that children have the greatest possible pre-school experience. Our Preschool has thought-provoking environment, ground-breaking and exhilarating curriculum providing a cheerful and compassionate atmosphere, where children can learn and grow holistically.

Pre Primary

Children are prepared for even more complex exercises in a disciplined manner. They are encouraged to learn both through structured activities and independently via exploration, discovery and manipulation. They are also involved in early science and cultural activities which introduce the child to the natural environment. Apart from skills and knowledge children at this stage cultivate sound morals, strength of character, healthy habits, team spirit and an aesthetic appreciation for the world around them .By the end of this programme the child is ready to move to a formal school. At this level, inquiry-based learning encourages the development of knowledge, skills, critical thinking and positive attitudes. Hands-on Activities that promote experiential learning with a major emphasis on cognitive development, reasoning, analytical skills, and inter and intra-personal skills with a hint of play and laughter happen here.

We follow an interdisciplinary thematic approach and connect concepts with real life. The complete curriculum is drafted keeping in mind the individual pacing and differentiation. Hands-on, real-world learning is an essential part of our curriculum. With the support of best-in-class educators and industry experts, students work in teams on different entrepreneurial projects throughout the school year to learn about market research, financial literacy, legal systems, social impact, product design, business development, fundraising, and other aspects of starting and running a business. They also learn the fundamentals of small-town governance.

Computer

Technology is ubiquitous, touching almost every part of our lives, our communities, our homes. Properly used, technology helps students acquire the skills they need to survive in a complex, highly technological knowledge-based economy. Technology gives the students an access to a variety of tools that match the task at hand and provide them the opportunity to build a deeper understanding of content. It makes learning more easy, accessible and effective.

Practical Life Exercises

The aims of Practical Life Exercises is to enable the child to be familiar with environment and become independent in performing day to day tasks. These activities help the child to develop fine and gross motor skills along with enabling him/her to take care of self and the environment around him/her. Development of concentration, co-ordination of movements, patience, a sense of order and good work habits are the other outcomes of these exercises. The child also learns social grace and courtesies and responsibilities, which help make him/her a more confident individual.

Healthy and Progressive Communication Skills

Language is taught through a graded phonic system. The child is slowly taken through the process of language development beginning with learning the phonetic sounds of the alphabet and moving on to word building and then sentence construction. This system helps the child master all four aspects of language – listening, speaking, writing and reading. Importance is given to the development of oral skills through group discussion, story- telling, show and tell and rhymes sessions.

Art and Aesthetics

Creativity is not about doing something better than others, it is about thinking, exploring, discovering, and imagining. With a dynamic range of opportunity and lessons, Arts proves to be one of the most loved sections for Goenkans.As the spectrum of Art is beyond imagination, students at every level experience so much more than papers, scissors, glue and origami. From folding dragons, to painting picturesque hues, molding clay to tiny child made creations the Art Program of The school is like painting the world through Imagination.
